The High Court in Johannesburg has declared as unlawful the action of seizing Bosasa assets. The judge also ruled that sales of the company’s assets before the second meeting of creditors was prohibited. The written consent and a resolution of the board of directors of African Global Holdings, or the consent of the court would be needed before any such move. Ulrich Roux provides legal insight.
