Contrary to what many people hope and what numerous media houses have wrongly reported, Jacob Zuma will not be arrested…..for now. The warrant of arrest issued for him has been stayed until 6 May 2020 when he appears again in the Pietermaritzburg High Court. Should he on this date not produce sufficient evidence that he was in fact ill and receiving medical treatment on 4 February 2020, the High Court could activate the warrant of arrest and he could be taken into custody.
