The National Prosecuting Authority’s Asset Forfeiture has seized assets belonging to businessman Edwin Sodi. The AFU pounced on Sodi’s fleet of luxury vehicles, which include a Ferrari, a Porsche and a Bentley. Sodi is one of the seven accused charged with corruption in the Free State asbestos corruption scandal. Last Friday the AFU also attached the house, cars and pension of former Housing Department H-O-D, Nthimotse Mokhesi. For more on what happens next, Xoli Mngambi chats to Casper Badenhorst, senior associate at Ulrich Roux & Associates.
