South Africans might not be allowed to own a gun for self-defence

South Africans were up in arms on Monday morning after they found out one is not allowed to own a firearm with the main reason of self-defence.

Breakfast with Martin Bester spoke to Ulrich Roux, attorney at Ulrich Roux & Associates, about the matter. 

Roux says: “Our gun laws make provisions for private gun ownership. If it were not for Pieter van der Westhuizen for being in a possession of a firearm, a lot of innocent people could have lost their lives.”
